Kildare is located on a peaceful road in Notting Hill. The streetscape consists of classic Georgian townhouses, characterised by their "M" pitched roofs, beautiful white stucco and ironwork, and defensible front garden space. The existing property enjoys 5 floor levels, good natural light, and a private back garden. The complete remodel endeavours to retain as many of the property's original features as possible, such as the beautiful cornicing details and original sash windows and shutters. We have dug under the house to create a new basement to house an open, contemporary kitchen and dining space. A complete landscaping of the garden has been undertaken (in collaboration with Harris Bugg Studios) to ensure this new rear connection to the garden is both seamless and flows, whilst making the most of the space and light.
